Manufacturing Technicians perform functions associated with all wafer production including operations, equipments, process and training.

  • Collects and evaluates operating data to conduct online equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization.
  • Responsible for running lots in a qualitative way. Also, responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, spares, and sustaining.
  • In addition, the Manufacturing Technician is responsible for improvement processes, troubleshooting nonstandard events in the production line, and reviewing technological health and stability.
  • The Manufacturing Technician may be responsible for the buddy, trainer, and certifier levels and is in charge of updating training manuals.
  • May participate in safety forums and Emergency Response Team as required.
  • Work is somewhat complex and is performed within the spectrum ranging from narrowly defined parameters and limited judgment up to highly complex and nonstandard assignments in nature and broadly defined parameters.
  • High degree of judgment and initiative is required in resolving complex nonstandard problems and developing recommendations. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, and detailed instructions on new work.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics or Mechatronics.
  • Candidates with computer hardware and software knowledge will be an added advantage.

This position is for an enthusiastic, passionate candidate who wants to become Product Development Engineer role (PDE) in Intel's Manufacturing and Product Engineering (MPE), you'll be expected to participate in global teams to enable Intel's product roadmap.

Responsibilities for this position include the following.

  • Performing evaluation and debug of new test program.
  • Resolving product/manufacturability issues related to product testing hardware and software.
  • Performing data analysis and deploying solutions to improve test coverage, yield, hardware capacity, and other product health indicators.
  • Development and debug of support software to support test program validation, data analysis and test debug

Qualifications

The successful candidate will be a Bachelor / Master Graduate in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication, Automation and Control Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science. Excellent problem solving, technical, team and communication skills. PERL and object oriented programming skill would be an advantage for this position.

Any related experience will be a plus.

Position description

The Mechanical Engineering intern will work closely under direct supervision of a senior engineer to perform specific engineering tasks of an analysis or test nature in specialized engineering fields. Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Provides facilities engineering & operational support focusing mechanical systems such as stated below:
  • -HVAC Heating Ventilating Air Conditioning & Cleanroom Systems
  • Oil Free Air compressed Air & Vacuum systems- Chilled / Process cooling water plant
  • Exhaust /Pumps systems
  • Owning safety within area of influence ensuring systems operate reliably to avoid manufacturing/facility or operations impacts by meeting uptime goals
  • Effective collaboration with construction and operations teams to coordinate work in the field overlooking projects to meet design criteria, scope, budget, and schedule oversight of planning, design, reconfiguration, construction,-Maintenance and modifications to equipment, machinery, facilities systems, buildings, and structures as required to support business requirements
  • Delivering operational efficiency, maintenance, testing and commissioning solutions
  • Identify and implement opportunities to achieve lowest cost of ownership to key stakeholders while maintaining reliability
  • Collaboration with the Site Facility management team, suppliers, key stakeholders and through in-depth understanding of the operating systems to determine and ensure compliance to existing standards, specifications, building codes, and processes.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification Skills (Must Have Skills):

  • Candidate must be advanced student of Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering degree or Master in Mechanical Engineering degree.
  • Skill - Knowledge of the practical application of mechanical engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and troubleshooting skill.
  • Design - Knowledge Industrial heating ventilation & Air conditioning HVAC and design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
  • Candidate who is equipped with experience in HVAC or facilities systems will be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal and must be willing to work effectively as an individual with minimal direction and as part of a larger team.
  • Able to commit to 6-9 months of internship
