GradLink UK Data Protection Privacy Notice

Any personal information you provide to GradLink UK will be processed by the University of the West of England, Bristol (UWE Bristol), sole owners of the GradLink UK site, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the UK 1998 Data Protection Act. The only information you provide that will be used on the GradLink website ("the Site") will be the general information you provide about your company, your company logo, and its vacancies (this information may also be used in GradLink′s publicity material).

When adding vacancies to the GradLink site, there is also the option to provide a generic or individual email contact for vacancy applications. All other personal data you provide, including individual employee names, roles, contact information etc. will not be used on the Site or any other materials, unless you require otherwise. We will hold such data securely and not make it available to any third party unless required to do so by law.

In addition to the above, UWE Bristol may send GradLink UK communications to employers, such as the GradLink newsletter for businesses. Further, we may send selected communications on behalf of third parties that are deemed by UWE Bristol to be of potential interest to graduate employers. Your personal data would not be made available to these third parties.

The information you provide for the Site will be kept on there unless there are relevant changes made to the site (for which advance notice would be given), or you inform us otherwise.

GradLink UK Terms for Employers

UWE Bristol is not responsible for any content and/or information which you post, send or upload onto the Site. We reserve the right to withdraw any such content and/or information without notice and at our sole discretion and to pursue any cause of action against you available to us under applicable laws.

You agree to use the Site for lawful purposes only, and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit anyone else′s use and enjoyment of the Site. Prohibited behaviour includes (this list is not exhaustive) harassing or causing distress or inconvenience to any person, transmitting obscene or offensive content or disrupting the normal flow of dialogue within the Site and impersonating another person (for example, by using their login details to access pages of the Site).

All jobs posted must comply with applicable local, national and international laws, including but not limited to laws relating to labour and employment, equal employment opportunity and employment eligibility requirements, data privacy, data access and use, and intellectual property.

By registering on GradLinkUK you will have access to the personal information of students and graduates through the GradLinkGo−CV!service. You must use this information for no other purpose than as an employer seeking employees.

UWE does not represent that information contained on or available via the Site is accurate or complete and accordingly it should not be relied on as such. You should not rely on any such information. Any arrangements made between you and any other person, using or named on the Site are entirely at your sole risk and responsibility.

Information contained in or accessible via the Site changes on a regular basis. We may make improvements or alterations to the Site at any time and without notice.

Addresses of or links to other websites may appear on the Site for your convenience. UWE does not monitor third party websites and we accept no responsibility or liability for the content of other websites. Any link is not intended to be, nor should be construed as, an endorsement of any kind by us of another website.

Should we link to any other website we will try to make it as clear as possible that you are leaving the Site. It is your responsibility to check the terms and conditions and privacy policy on any other website that you visit.

We do not guarantee that:

(a) use of the Site will be compatible with all hardware and software,
(b) use of the Site will be uninterrupted or error or virus free,
(c) use of the Site will deliver any specific outcome for its users, or
(d) defects on the Site will be corrected (save for those defects which UWE is obliged to correct by law.
