Could a global network draw more top talent to your company?

GradLink is delighted to partner with the British Council to support their programme of global careers events for international students and graduates. This collaboration has sparked increased support for international students and created opportunities for employers to get involved and gain connections to the top graduate talent.

The British Council has an international network of 127,000+ graduates who studied at UK universities, either in the UK or through UK higher education delivered overseas, across 150+ countries.

These alumni are highly educated, internationally experienced graduates from some of the world’s most renowned universities. As of 2022, UK universities had educated 50 world leaders, more than any other country, demonstrating the influence of UK education. Many of these alumni work in priority sectors such as technology, health, and new energy, driving innovation and growth worldwide.

Events employers can get involved with

The British Council will run a range of high-quality careers events throughout the year that employers can get involved with. These include:

  • Sector Spotlight Series: a range of webinars focused on key global industries
  • Alumni UK Live: the annual professional development festival (16k+ registrations)
  • Employer Advisory Panels: help shape the content of future programmes.

Benefits

We would like to invite employers to be part of these events where you can support international students while accessing some of the best educated graduate talent in the world. Employers can contribute to events in a number of ways- for example as a speaker, panellist, or by advising on content- and involvement is both free and flexible.

By contributing to these events, you will be supporting the career developments of international graduates, whilst also accessing a global network of some of the best educated graduates in the world.
