Job Description

 

Position: Point of Sale Analyst Intern:

 

 

 

As the Point of Sale Analyst (POS) Intern for our Dealer (B2D) and our Consumer (B2C) websites, you will be responsible for supporting the Point of Sale Analysts with Administrative functions, Standard Help Desk requests, Data entry & System User Acceptance testing within the Operations Support Department.  This position will be required to interact with key internal users / stakeholders, as well as our external Customers (Dealers) to support the resolution of production and testing environment issues / concerns within Mercedes-Benz Financial Services. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

Conduct POS Administrative functions and respond to standard help desk requests via phone calls, emails or third party requests

Oversee & support Document Management for POS eforms, including the implementation of changes / enhancements & additions, version control & repository management

Support the development and maintenance of documentation related to POS administration, protocols, business rules, reporting & process maps

Generate regular and ad-hoc reports

Perform daily, weekly and monthly user acceptance test cases including data entry, scenario generation & results validation

Support, document & or generate documentation on user acceptance test scripts and testing results

Support other key stakeholders within the Operations Support team as required

 

 

Qualifications:

 

Pursuing or recently completed undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science or Information Technology is preferred.

1-2 years work experience, preferably in an office setting.

Familiar with website navigation & review.

Experience in detailed data entry of web based forms.

Ability to follow step by step instructions for User Acceptance Testing activities

Ability to execute and effectively communicate status updates on multiple projects / tasks in a timely manner

Proficient in using MS Office programs (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Sharepoint, Onenote & Outlook).

Proficiency (preferred) and or ability to edit PDF files using Adobe Acrobat Professional

Comfortable and able to quickly learn new data and software applications.

Excellent relationship management, verbal and written communication skills 

Detail oriented, organized, innovative and has the ability to develop and convey creative ideas.
