Education & Employment 

To pursue our goal of providing independence and quality of life of people with mobility challenges, we believe that education of future orthotic and prosthetic technicians is one of the effective means to an end. 

We offer: 

You will receive a 19-month education in the field of prosthetics for lower extremities and will study one year at Ottobock Headquarters in Germany.  After a successful completion of the study program, you will gain an internationally recognized certification as an orthopaedic technician (ISPO Cat II Prosthetics Lower Extremities). Furthermore, this is your opportunity to receive an employment contract before, during and after the study program. Therefore, we offer you a great chance to commence a long-term career with a perspective company and a market leader in prosthetic field, where you will always have space for personal and professional development.

Your Profile:

First of all, you should be motivated to work with people with mobility challenges, which comes hand in hand with prerequisite of good social skills, such as empathy, patience and good communication skills. On top of that, we expect you are skilled also technically (have good manual skills) and have a sufficient knowledge of written as well as communicative English (at least pre- or intermediate level when applying) For policy matters it is necessary that you have gained educational degree allowing you to study abroad (high-school degree with university acceptance plus either: 2-year vocational education / technical college degree or 3-year professional experience in a field related to this study program). Naturally, you should be motivated to live and study for one year in Germany where you will meet people from all around the world.
