GradLink to present on ′Reversing the Africa Brain Drain′ at Going Global 2016

UWE Bristol, the University that created GradLink Africa, will be presenting on how the website is helping to counter the African brain-drain phenomenum at the British Council's high profile Going Global Event in Cape town, South Africa, on May 2nd-4th.

Brain-drain is estimated to have cost the African continent over $4 billion in the employment of 150,000 expatriate professionals annually, with the continent’s educated and skilled population being lost as a result of emigration to more developed countries.

Through the creation of an award-winning careers site linking overseas-educated African graduates with opportunities in Africa, the University of the West of England is helping to reverse this process.
