We are recruiting for a Procurement and Supply Chain Analyst to join our Supply Chain team to support our ongoing growth here are the Big Table Group.

The Big Table is one of the leading independent restaurant companies in the UK. We operate some of the most recognisable and loved restaurant brands to be found anywhere in the eating-out market, such as Bella Italia, Banana Tree, Café Rouge, Las Iguanas, Frankie & Benny’s and Chiquito. We operate over 230 restaurant sites in a variety of locations including leisure parks, shopping centres and high streets.

You’ll be based in our London Support centre, which is just 5 minutes’ walk away from Oxford Circus. Where our teams work in a hybrid way and so this means you’ll be in the office at least 2 to 3 days a week, with a chance to work from home the rest of the time.

We’re offering a starting salary of up to £45,000 per year plus some fantastic perks & benefits.

What does the role involve?

This new role will play a critical part in optimising our procurement and supply chain processes, as well as, supporting the Procurement and Supply Chain team in providing clear, actionable data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Evaluate product / supplier tender submissions.
  • Analyse dish / product performance to identify margin improvement opportunities.
  • Track Cost of Goods changes and report year on year changes.
  • Monitor inventory levels and demand forecasts.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and manage vendor relationships.
  • Measure sales performance linked to supplier rebates.
  • Analyse energy usage at restaurant level to identify abnormal usage patterns.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.

To be successful in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate:

  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Accountancy, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain analysis.

Job Skills/Competencies Required

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
