Job Description & Qualifications

An exciting opportunity to work for a global media company and a highly agile Finance function. Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, you will play an important part in the production of our monthly management accounts. Finance Analysts either report to a Finance Manager or directly into a Senior Finance manager with a Senior Finance Analyst to providing daily support.

What you'll be doing...

• Post accurate month-end journals for the monthly management accounts.
• Reconcile accruals and prepayments
• Review postings with relevant areas of the business to ensure accuracy 
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Report and analyse to aid in the review of management accounts
• Answer questions from both the business and wider finance teams.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve...

• Pursuing or interest in pursuing an accounting qualification ACA/CIMA/ACCA
• Management accounting experience would be preferential
• Team player who can collaborate across Finance to ensure month-end deadlines are met.
• Stakeholder management experience
• Experience in Netsuite, Planning analytics, BigQuery or other Financial/ data systems desirable

This is a Hybrid role from our Bath Office, working three days from the office, two from home
