Job Description & Qualifications

Are you an IT developer, looking to progress your skills, knowledge and career to the next level? We have an exciting 12 month Fixed-Term Contract position here at Legal & General for a junior CCM Developer to join us in supporting the technical development and maintenance of our Customer Communications Management (CCM) software and technical processes for Communications.

You'll be joining a team of 3 developers and will have the opportunity to embark on plenty of training which will include training around our CCM tool Quadient.

In addition to receiving training, you will have a wide variety of activities that tasks as part of your role as Developer which include;

  • To support the technical development and maintenance of Customer Communications using Customer Communications Management software (document composition) - Quadient / Open Text Exstream to ensure a coordinated delivery of accurate material on time.
  • To create, maintain and update technical specifications ensuring that they reflect the build and adhere to the approval process.
  • To support the Development Team in reporting and investigating production issues.
  • To gain all the necessary approvals to ensure that all specifications and collateral are technically compliant, relevant and meet regulatory and TCF requirements across multiple channels.
  • To monitor, maintain and update content held on the various extranet sites using the CMS system. Support the ongoing development of the sites for enhanced user experience.
  • To work with agile methodologies (writing user stories, estimating capacity etc.) to deliver communications changes to support any product, customer experience or regulatory transformation to meet sprint deadlines while adhering to all internal procedures and ensuring processes are documented and up to date.
  • To support the Team by covering other team processes for contingency purposes and support other members of the team to share and embed best practice.
  • To prioritise customer centric improvements which remove friction from the customer journey with inclusion considerations and vulnerable customers in front of mind.
