Job Description & Qualifications

Working across a huge spectrum of challenges, you will provide IT consultancy expertise that will transform how our clients conduct their day-to-day business and how they interact with their own customers, streamlining their business processes and enhancing profitability. Understanding how we can support these clients; you will ensure the right apps and technology are in place to exceed their expectations. 

You’ll harness the power of package-based solutions such as Salesforce, ensuring the technology performs all the business functions an organisation needs to not just function, but to thrive.

You’ll build, configure and customise sophisticated applications to meet the bespoke needs of every client. 

You’ll learn new features and technologies which you will develop for your specified cloud platform, pushing boundaries and exploring the full extent of your knowledge.

Skills & experience

  • A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or a technical discipline.  
  • Experience with JavaScript and CSS, with a desire to develop technical skills.  
  • Understand and capable of using object-oriented programming (Java, c# etc) and understand the basics of cloud computing.  
  • Salesforce experience (preferable)  
  • Plenty of excitement about the power of technology, and the effect it can have on business – along with the capacity to learn more about Salesforce technologies in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Outstanding communication skills – our clients need to feel confident that you understand their requirements and represent the best of Capgemini.  
  • The ability to convey complex coding concepts in jargon-free language to a non-technical audience.  
  • Becoming a pivotal team member producing high quality Salesforce solutions. 

Security clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks. 

There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required.

There are other criteria and check required for BPSS, and throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.

Note: You will have lived in the UK for the last five years with no more than 6 months out of the country (in order to meet security clearance requirements). You should be flexible in your approach to work and willing to travel to Capgemini and client sites.
