ESG Analyst
Job Description & Qualifications
Your role will work closely and report to the Group Director of Sustainable Operations to support with ESG reporting requirements. The role will be based at the ISG head office in London with the option for hybrid/remote working. The position is full time, and the successful candidate will also be required to assist with the implementation of Group sustainability strategies and winning future projects where ESG commitments are required.
Key Deliverables
- Support the delivery of accurate and timely ESG reporting with collation and analysis of data
- Liaise and establish good working relationships with all relevant ISG enabling departments for ESG reporting
- Complete ESG questionnaires to achieve required standards within expected timeframes
- Support with writing content for the annual report specific to ESG requirements
- Collate ESG case studies/ evidence
- Support with materiality assessments, stakeholder engagement and analysis
- Support ESG related queries/tenders/PQQs within ISG
- Contributing to analysis of emerging ESG trends and regulations
Qualifications, Knowledge, And Skills
- Quantitative and qualitative data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Knowledge of sustainability issues & challenges within the construction/built environment/property sector
- Familiarity of GRI, TCFD, CDP and other ESG reporting frameworks/standards. Experience preferred.
- Familiarity with ESG questionnaires e.g. EcoVadis. Experience preferred.
- Ability to deal confidently with employees, clients and external customers
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Excellent management, engagement, and communication skills
- Excellent presentation and problem-solving skills
- Excellent practical, analytical and research skills. Ability to effectively research and report on technical ESG topics
- Masters / degree-level education in sustainability/environment / other ESG related area
- Associate level membership or higher of IEMA, ICRS or similar
