Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity available to join our Financial Reporting Centre in Hove as an Annuities Reporting Operations Analyst.

In this role you will be part of a blended actuarial team that provides financial reporting services to our Retirement Division, covering both IFRS and Solvency II metrics for our Annuity Products.

As well as playing your part in ensuring that we run an effective and efficient reporting service, you will also provide regular updates to management to enable the team to disseminate financial information and analysis back to the business.

You will also contribute to the planning of both BAU and Change activities, and as required you may be asked to support with the testing and implementation of new financial reporting tools/systems.

This is a hybrid working opportunity based from our Hove Offices, which will allow you the opportunity to work from both your home and the office, so you can find a work/life balance that suits you.

Qualifications

  • A highly numerate individual.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential, with familiarity of VBA, SQL or Prophet/DCS being highly advantageous.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders across thee business at various levels including Qualified Actuaries and IT Change professionals.
  • Ability to work in a flexible, collaborative team.
  • A highly organised individual who is able to manage their own time efficiently to meet multiple deadlines and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Previous experience of working in a Financial Reporting environment would be highly advantegous.

PLEASE NOTE - This is NOT a Student Actuarial or Accounting role, but it could suit a previous student who has now stopped exams.
