LafargeHolcim Bangladesh operates the only integrated cement plant in Bangladesh. It is the only cement company that has access to key raw material resource (limestone) required for the manufacturing of clinker. Job Purpose

  • Develop an effective administrative cell.
  • Ensure efficient management.
  • Develop a Permanent and strong relationship with government bodies concerned with administrative works at site.
  • Smooth office administration and maintenance of pool transport.
  • Smooth administration of Housing Colony and Expatriates Housing.
  • Smooth operation of contractual services.
  • Renewal of different contracts with amendment (if any).
  • Ensure smooth Plant Site HR & Employee Relations Activities.

responsibilities

  • Ensures proper maintenance of Office vehicles and rented vehicles.
  • Maintain office furniture, equipment in good condition.
  • Ensure all resources require running the office is available.
  • Maintain liaison with Cleaning Contractor and supervise whether cleaning works have been undertaken as per contract signed.
  • Ensures that refreshments on special occasions are arranged through caterers.
  • Ensures that travel arrangements are made for company employees through travel agents.
  • Arrangement of safety briefing for drivers & boatman and other contracted staffs.
  • Support in Medical Emergency Evacuation.
  • Manage Canteen operation at Plant & Housing Complex.
  • Coordinate Housing Complex Management, Catering & HK Staff Management, Plant Site Accommodation Management, Maintenance of PM Bungalow, Pest Control Services at Plant and Housing Complex and Office Refreshment at Plant Site.
  • Make urgent purchases on approval from the line manager.
  • Ensures that efficient postal services are provided to the office through direct reports.
  • Liaison with IT department for maintenance of PABX and networking and also co-ordinate with PABX maintenance, Mobile SIM Providers Company when required.
  • Maintain inventory of office equipment and arrange repair in case of damage or disorder.
  • Contact Water/Power Supply/Gas/T&T and mobile telephone authority in order to fix service related problems.
  • Contact local law enforcing authority (e.g. Police) in case of theft or/and burglary in the plant (In co-ordination with line manager).
  • Arrange rent-a-car (On approval) as per requirement of the company.
  • Arrange hotel accommodation/transportation (On approval) for expatriate/local employees as per requirement.
  • Coordinate plantation and gardening to be done for Green Environment of Plant.
  • Arrange, organise and supervise the various recreational functions on approval.
  • Attend and perform other job(s) assigned by the Line Manager from time to time.
  • Maintaining head count record of contractors.
  • All over Admin & Site Support Job Supervision.

Required Experience:

  • Required Education: BBA/MBA in Business Administration; Graduate or Post Graduate in Public Administration, English, Sociology, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management.
  • Maximum 02 years of experiences/ Fresher also can apply
  • Negotiation, Decision-making capabilities, strong leadership, excellent communication, people management and team player skills.
  • Speaks and writes English fluently.
  • Knowledge and practice of safety rules/regulations, safety management and training.
  • Analytical skill
  • Strong commitment, self-confidence, and positive attitude.
  • Result orientated dynamic personality, and good work ethics.
  • The ability to work well under pressure
  • Concept on risk management and Safety Standard
