Virtual Manufacturing Engineer – Paint
Job Description & Qualifications

- To develop the Manufacturing Digital tools and test/ apply into the Global vehicle programs
- To develop & perform the Mfg Digital tools to virtually simulate and validate the process upfront during the Product Engineering to shorten the physical trials during Launch build.
- Understand the Paint manufacturing process flow from start to End and apply digital tools to simulate and verify results .
- Develop Paint Spray simulation digital tools and interface cross functionally with Paint suppliers, Digital tool vendors and Mfg plants to drive the DoE trials and establish the correlation with plant & Simlation
- Drive Cross functional team internal & External through the development of Durr and Fanuc Robotic paint Simulations
- Learn & develop Digital Color Harmony Simulation and interface with Ford R&AE team
- Ability to do a Strong logical & analytical skills to Interpret the results and provide a technical recommendations out of the CFD results.
- Ability to perform independently and self driven.
- Strong Communication & Presentation skills to be able to explain and make Engineering decisions

- Ability to conduct DoE trials & evaluate the results for the digital tool development
