Job Description & Qualifications

The Economist is a leading source of analysis on international business and world affairs, published weekly in print and tablet editions, and daily through our Espresso app and We deliver our information through a range of formats, from newspapers and magazines to conferences, films and digital editions. 

As part of our global Human Resource team, the HR Coordinator will support the HR Operations team and the overall HR processes. The HR Coordinator partners closely with our HR team and candidates while interacting with all levels of the organisation.


How you will contribute:

  • Support HR Operations team with offer letter processing and new hire data collection
  • On time & error free processing of letters, completion of pre and post-joining formalities along with proper on time documentation of files.
  • Coordinate with managers on candidate’s onboarding status
  • Coordinate with HRBPs and Finance BPs for accurate employment details 
  • Manage employee life cycle activities for all employees in TEG including, maintaining and reviewing accurate, error free database
  • Maintain related trackers for letters prepared and employee folder maintenance
  • Think of new ways of representing data and helping businesses to make data driven for decisions.
  • Act as SPOC from HR to liaison with the businesses.
  • Manage HR related audits 
  • Manage employee related insurance portfolios in the organisation
  • On time endorsements and strong hold on data and reports


  • Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of education and equivalent work experience
  • 12 months+ experience in full life-cycle recruitment and staffing with a demonstrated ability to identify and deliver qualified candidates
