Job Description & Qualifications
The Marketing Automation Executive will support our central B2B marketing team by assisting in the creation, execution, and optimisation of email marketing campaigns. This role is essential in helping to engage our audience through targeted email content, driving sales, and enhancing customer loyalty.
Objective/Purpose of the Role
The primary objective of the Marketing Automation Executive is to assist in executing impactful email marketing strategies that effectively reach and engage our target audience, driving conversions and fostering customer retention. This role involves supporting the entire email marketing process, from concept development to execution and analysis, ensuring each campaign aligns with our broader marketing objectives and brand voice.
Accountabilities
Journey Building:
- Assist in the development and execution of targeted email marketing journeys tailored to various stages of the customer lifecycle.
- Support the mapping out and design of email sequences that nurture leads, engage existing customers, and re-engage inactive users.
- Collaborate with the central and BU marketing team to integrate email journeys with broader marketing and sales journeys.
Campaign Development and Execution:
- Design and implement creative email marketing campaigns.
- Support the development of compelling content and coordinate with design teams for graphics.
- Manage technical aspects of email campaigns, ensuring compatibility across different platforms and interfaces.
Performance Analysis and Reporting:
- Assist in analysing email performance using key metrics and report insights. Formulate basic recommendations for email performance improvement.
- Track customer feedback and response to refine future strategies
Collaboration and Integration:
- Ensure brand consistency across email campaigns and other marketing initiatives.
- Integrate email marketing with overall content and social media strategies.
Campaign Scheduling and Management:
- Schedule and manage the timing of email campaigns.
- Ensure timely delivery and efficient workflow management.
Compliance and Best Practices:
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements
Experience, skills and professional attributes
Experience Required for the Role
- Proven experience in a marketing role, preferably with exposure to email marketing.
- Experience in assisting with the creation and management of email campaigns and content.
- Familiarity with email marketing tools and software.
Skills Required for the Role
- Good knowledge of email marketing strategies and best practices.
- Proficiency in marketing automation technology.
- Analytical mind with attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Basic understanding of GDPR and email regulations.
