Job Description & Qualifications

The MIS Analyst will support the HR department by managing HR information systems, providing data analysis, and delivering reports that drive strategic decision-making. The role involves maintaining HR databases, ensuring data accuracy, generating reports, and working closely with HR and IT teams to improve the functionality of HR-related software and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Data Management: Oversee HR data collection ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of all HR data.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Generate regular and ad-hoc reports related to employee data, performance metrics, recruitment, turnover, compensation, benefits, and other HR metrics. Use data to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Systems Administration: Manage and maintain HR systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure systems are up to date. Collaborate with IT to enhance system capabilities.
  • Data Integration: Ensure seamless integration of data across multiple platforms .Work on data migration projects as needed.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with HR stakeholders to identify opportunities for improving HR processes through automation and better use of technology.
  • Compliance: Ensure that HR data practices comply with relevant labor laws, data protection laws (e.g., GDPR), and internal policies.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for systems, processes, and reports.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in HR Systems, Excel, SQL, data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI), and other relevant software.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing data and generating reports.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot systems issues and find effective solutions to improve system performance and HR processes.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in presenting data findings to non-technical audiences.
  • Project Management: Experience in managing or participating in projects, especially those related to system upgrades, data migration, or process automation.

Education & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in an MIS, IT, or data analytics role, preferably within HR. Experience with HR is highly desirable.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Certified in HR systems or databases
  • Certifications in data analytics tools or methodologies

This role is crucial for ensuring that the HR department has the data and tools needed to manage talent, optimize workforce performance, and align HR activities with organizational goals
