Job Description & Qualifications

The Credit Card Reconciliation Specialist is an integral part of the finance team, responsible for efficiently reconciling credit card transactions for inclusion in the ERP system. This role involves meticulous attention to detail, organizational skills, and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial records. The working hours will be from 1:00 P.M to 9:00 P.M in Amman time.

Role Responsibilities 

  • Conduct reconciliation of credit card transactions from various data sources for inclusion and classification in the ERP system
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely processing of credit card data
  • Verify and validate credit card statements against transaction records
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in credit card transactions
  • Maintain a systematic record of credit card reconciliations
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to gather necessary information for reconciliation
  • Generate reports summarizing credit card reconciliation findings
  • Provide support in the implementation of credit card processing best practices
  • Stay informed about industry trends and updates related to credit card transactions

Role Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field from a recognized university
  • Previous experience in credit card reconciliation or related financial roles is an advantage
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, with hands-on experience being a distinct advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams
  • Ability to be flexible given the circumstances of any given transaction or situation
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ambitious, eager to learn, and committed to maintaining a high level of professionalism
