With our continuous growth, we are pleased to announce an incredibly exclusive and exciting opportunity to join our Data Governance team as Data Governance Officer.

As our business has grown, so has our data. And with great data, comes great responsibility. The Data Governance team is responsible for the development, implementation and the maintenance of the rules, frameworks and policies set to ensure that data is managed and used purposefully and responsibly. As a Data Governance Officer, you’ll be working as part of the team that creates core data products as well as the governance around them (such as documentation, definitions, homogenous field nomenclature etc), manage the master data for the company, standardization of business terminology and logics, and work with creating a data community and data culture in the company.

Some Of The Tasks Include

• Be involved in the creation of governance for core datasets that will be used by QR Cargo Data Users, which includes deciphering SQL to discover the as-is, proposing a streamlining solution of current data transformations, building technical documentation, homogenizing field names, building definitions and data profiling for data quality
• Track, update and manage deliverables through Azure DevOps
• Ensure that Master Data is up-to-date and enforce the accountability with relevant stakeholders
• Assist the senior specialist in facilitating discussions and workshops with business units to test and validate governance solutions and any modifications on the core datasets
• Assist in the structuring of common business terminology/logics, working with the senior data governance officer to ensure the consensus of all involved stakeholders
• Monitor tools through tableau to ensure the compliance of our governance policies and structures
• Monitor the data quality of the core datasets and alert the relevant stakeholders according to the agreed SLAs

Qualifications

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Science or equivalent with minimum of 3 years of job-related experience
• Experience working with SQL/PSQL is essential
• Excellent command of the English language, both verbally and in writing
• Proven history of change management and business analyst experience is an advantage
• Knowledge of the aviation cargo industry or logistics is an advantage.
