During your tenure as an ICS – Translator, you will be responsible for translating various documents from Arabic to English and vice versa with specific emphasis on financial reports. Administrative skills will be required from time to time on an ad hoc basis, and you will demonstrate an openness to learn and the ability to accept constructive criticism.

Your responsibilities will include translation of documents in various subjects such as:

  • Financial statements and Management discussion and analysis (MD&A)
  • Gap reports
  • Annual information forms and information circulars
  • Prospectuses
  • Economic analyses
  • Policies and procedures manuals
  • Due diligence reports
  • Feasibility studies
  • Valuation Reports (as large power point presentations)
  • Forensic Analysis Reports
  • Court Judgments
  • Newspaper Articles
  • Laws, decrees and regulations
  • Agreements and Contracts
  • Correspondences
  • Tax related documents

  • Bachelor's Degree in Translation, Literature or relevant subject
  • Minimum 0 to 2 years of relevant experience as a Translator
  • Experience of document translation within various fields; translation of financial documents
  • Excellent knowledge of financial and legal terminology
  • Previous experience within a Big 4 / financial services / professional environment (desirable)
