To manage and develop client relationships in a specified geographical area to meet the defined objectives and standards of the bank

Relationship Management

  • Develop and manage client relationships by offering value-added advice and guidance to
  • customers and placing their needs at the forefront to achieve desired objectives of the bank in line with the required standards.
  • Grow sustainable revenues from existing customer portfolio and through targeted
  • acquisition of quality new customers
  • Proactively develop effective plans to manage relationships, both existing and new, by anticipating customer needs and providing superior quality services resulting in increased wallet share

Portfolio Management

  • Monitor and control customer portfolios to achieve desired quality through cross sell,upsell and retention
  • Increase profitability, relationship depth while minimising risk to ensure a healthy portfolio
  • Optimise the potential value and profitability of existing relationships by assisting in the
  • delivery of solutions, products and services appropriate to meet customer needs and to improve customer engagement
  • Establish an effective dialogue / working relationship with Risk Management teams in order to build a sustainable asset growth


  • At least 2 years of relationship management experience in banking/ financial services industry
  • A minimum of CISI Level 1 certification is required
  • Experience in Wealth / Portfolio Management within the local market, driving wealth penetration

Job Skills/Competencies Required

  • An extensive and demonstrable knowledge of markets, Investment and Insurance products is required
  • Understanding of wealth management products & services
