In this role, your responsibilities and duties may include:
- Create maintenance documents, e.g. Jobcards / Work Instructions
- Preparation of supplemental pages
- Generate maintenance documents in line with workshop requirements incl. best practices and continuous improvements
- Interpret complex maintenance data and Simplify to instruction documents
- Ensure compliance with EASA Part-145 and quality requirements for created documents
- Quality check for missing or corrupted data
- Interaction with project management and shop floor support engineering
- Interaction with other engineering departments within the Company Group
- All other duties as assigned or required
The ideal Maintenance Document Editor should meet the following requirements:
- At least one year of technical experience
- Advanced Knowledge of technical documentation
- English language at professional working proficiency level
- German language desirable (willingness to learn technical German language)
- Aviation Industry knowledge desirable (e.g. Human Factor, Part-145)
- Experience in maintenance, repair and overhaul organization as asset
- Knowledge of parts repair methods desirable
- High school certificate
- Bachelor's degree desirable
- Master's degree desirable
- Knowledge of electronic data processing
- Experience in usage of SAP-R3 desired
- Willingness to travel
