The opportunity

Within EY's Assurance service line, Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) professionals provide advisory services encompassing accounting and regulatory support on accounting change and special matters; accounting processes and controls support; GAAP conversion and implementation; on call financial reporting advice; and transaction accounting and financial reporting assistance.

Your key responsibilities

As our colleague, you will gain experience from working on a wide variety of assignments.

• You will be responsible for participating and assisting in valuation and financial analyses.
• Participating in the formulation of valuation approaches.
• Assisting in the development of valuation and other business models.
• Assisting in the preparation of internal and client valuation reports for a variety of purposes such as financial reporting, transactions, tax, and litigation.

• Outstanding organizational skills, flexibility, and ability to work under tight deadlines

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Ongoing College / University studies in the field of Finance, Accounting, Applied Economics or Financial Mathematics
• Experience or studies in business valuation
• Deep understanding of finance and accounting
• Strong analytical skills
• Financial modeling skills is an advantage, including experience building models from scratch in MS Excel
• Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English and Hungarian

Our interns usually work from Monday to Friday, with working hours that vary between 25 and 40 hours per week

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Real estate related knowledge
