Our Strategy and Transactions (SaT) service line is looking for Junior Consultants to join a two-year rotational full time graduate program, which will provide a variety of different tracks within EY SaT areas. Rare opportunity to see and be part of major financial transactions.

SaT team guides clients to make better, more informed decisions as they buy, sell, separate, integrate, reshape, restructure, or rethink their business strategy. They advise on all aspects of transactions, from inception to execution and completion

Our SaT team includes 4 sub-service lines for this program and you will have the chance to have a deeper knowledge in the following areas:

Lead Advisory (M&A): 

  • Leveraging an extensive global network, our M&A team provides sector-focused advice on the sale process from strategic positioning to close, and we help execute acquisitions, alliances and mergers. As part of this team, you may also advise C-suite executives and boards on evaluating strategic alternatives in the context of transactions.

Capital & Debt Advisory: 

  • Helping clients in fundraising (capital, loan, bond, etc.), advise on capital structure and execute complex balance sheet restructurings. The team has decades of experience guiding clients through capital events and understands the dynamics of every layer of the capital structure.

Transaction Diligence (Financial Due Diligence): 

  • Focusing on buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence, examining the financial and business risk for M&A transaction by analyzing the financial impact of a transaction. Considering the commercial and strategic priorities, and synergies to maximize the value of the transaction for our clients and understand the key business drivers, co-develop our approach with the client and provide value to the client through insights, factual conclusion and advice, etc.

Valuation, Modeling and Economics: 

  • Helping clients understand the value of their business, their securities, intellectual property, capital equipment, intangibles and other assets. The team  assists  clients to coordinate valuation engagements for the purpose of: management planning, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), financial reporting, tax and regulatory compliance, restructuring and reorganization and corporate strategy

The program starts in August 2024.

All SaT Graduate Consultants may participate in a comprehensive training program in the first weeks. It begins with an orientation followed by technical and soft skills trainings.  Our program equips you with hands on knowledge and practice, you need to play a valuable role in your team and establish a long-term career at EY.

Skills and attributes for success:

  • Bsc or Msc Degree in the field of Economics or Business
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Hungarian language
  • Advanced user level in MS Office tools - Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Project
  • Strong interest in analyzing data and drawing conclusions
  • Problem solving orientation, logical, structural thinking
  • Solid basic consulting skills
  • Client focused mindset with career aspirations
