Job Description & Qualifications

UBB was established in 1992 through the merger of 22 Bulgarian regional commercial banks as the first and largest in terms of scale consolidation project in the Bulgarian banking sector. Since 2017, the Bank has been part of the Belgian bank-assurance group КВС, currently the largest financial group in Bulgaria.

The perfect candidate should possess:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Economics/ Finance/ Business Administrations
• Genuine interest in M&A and capital markets
• Previous experience in investment banking or asset management and corporate finance is considered advantage
• Experience in financial analysis and business strategy
• Excellent written and verbal communication in both Bulgarian and English language
• CFA qualification in progress or completed is an advantage
• Strong analytical and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Preparation of in-depth offering documents including Information memorandums, teasers and investment decks
• Sourcing sell-side and buy-side clients through professional databases and public sources
• Perform industry and company research for potential M&A opportunities
