The Digitalization & Data Analytics or Tools & Automation Sourcing Department in specific is in charge of Sourcing tools & automation technologies (e.g. eSourcing, Contract Management, DocuSign, One Span, Coupa Risk Assess, Procurement Hub, RPA, Bizagi, MS Power), exploration and tools run support: Content management, technical integrations, interfaces to pre-systems, system consolidations, migrations and new roll-outs.

We help the organization to find best in class and future proof application which fit into our tool landscape from a holistic Source2Pay perspective, are intuitive for end users, deliver reliable data and support efficient processes. Moreover the Tools & Automation Sourcing department is supporting the Build/Implementation for digitalization projects of the Procurement Masterplan, either on the driver’s seat for tool related projects, or in a supportive/consulting role in case of automation and digitalization of other initiatives. Core of the department is a stable run operations of the technology stack in sourcing with guaranteed uptime, training end users and continuously improving the system jointly with IT and providers by implementing change requests and deploying releases.

Your tasks:

  • Play an active role in selection, testing and implementation of new tools and systems.
  • Maintain and run existing procurement tools and platforms.
  • Provide training and communication for internal as well as external stakeholders related to automated procurement platforms (e.g. DocuSign, Procurement Hub, Jaggaer, Coupa)
  • Document business process and identify improvement and automation areas
  • Collect and consolidate business requirements, user feedback and surveys from user groups as needed.
  • Liaise with internal and external service providers to ensure design and implementation against requirements
  • Drive data quality improvements within procurement tools
  • Automate repetitive processes using Robotics Process Automation (RPA)
  • Maintain and manage change requests related to existing RPA processes
  • Compare different technologies and solutions to provide a comparative analysis and recommendation to the management for decisions
  • Manage software release upgrades to the existing tools (e.g. GoSource, DocuSign, RPAs etc.)
  • Drive change management activities related to new digitalization of procurement processes.
  • Provide tool support in expanding existing tools and platforms to cover additional scope e.g. Categories, countries and business processes.
  • Support Digitalization initiatives within the organization, as needed.
  • Contribute to reliable data
  • Support in defining, mapping and implementation of concepts & processes
  • Ensure successful cooperation between Processes & Tools team and sourcing community
  • Alignment with regional teams to ensure proper tool usage and implementation of processes
  • Ensure compliance to policies and guidelines through reporting and monitoring
  • Analyze business requirements for new reports, dashboards and analysis, check feasibility and offer most effective technical solution

Your profile:

  • University degree (preferably in business administration, economics, finance, technology)
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience, especially in the area of processes, tools and digitalization
  • Good knowledge of English, German would be an advantage.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (e.g. MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access etc.)
  • Good knowledge of technologies such as RPA, Workflow tools (e.g. SharePoint, Bizagi), Virtual Assistants and other automation technologies.
  • Sound knowledge of Power BI or other reporting tools
  • Advanced analytical and conceptualization skills
  • Experience in process optimization
  • Knowledge and expertise with procurement tools (e.g. Jaggaer, Coupa, DocuSign) is a big advantage
  • Willingness and aptitude to learn new digital platforms and apply them for improvement in daily work
  • High affinity towards digitalization, displaying digital mindset and behavior
  • High self-motivation, solution-oriented thinking and creativity
  • Good communication skills
  • First experience in change/project management
