Accountant / Bookkeeper (substitute)

• Invoice control for accounting and tax purposes, ensuring correct tax records
• Settlement and reporting of intra-Community acquisition transactions
• Accounting, settlement and reporting of employee settlements
• Monitoring the timeliness of repayments and reconciling balances with contractors
• Analysis of balances and entries in accounting accounts, in particular purchase settlements
• Preparing reports for the Central Statistical Office
• Supporting cycle closing processes
• Preparation of internal accounting reports

Qualifications

• Higher education, preferably in accounting or finance
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in accounting
• Practical knowledge of the Goods and Services Tax Act
• Practical knowledge of the Accounting Act
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel)
• Communicative knowledge of English
• Accuracy and diligence, timeliness in the execution of tasks
• Communication skills, ability to work in a team
• Independence and commitment to the work performed
• Knowledge of the SAP system is welcome
