We are looking for a legal and compliance intern who will provide a wide range of paralegal support as well as compliance / legal support in order to effectively facilitate daily operations of Regional / China Compliance team. The candidate should be proactive and diligent and understand business and operation needs of the organization. S/he should be detail oriented and excited to work collaboratively in an excellent compliance and legal team.

Main Tasks:

  • Support regional compliance daily operation in Asia Pacific, including various compliance program / initiatives on compliance trainings, compliance campaign, data protection, etc. coordinate on feedback collection, consolidation, maintain paper filing and e-filing from various countries in Asia Pacific and manage the data up to date.
  • Conduct legal research, case analysis and summary, draft and / or review contracts, translate and / or proof-read le compliance documents, etc.
  • Support the preparation of high-profile compliance case investigation upon assignment.
  • Schedule appointments, make arrangement for meetings, workshops, event, etc.
  • Support other administrative tasks assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Law major, second year of Master's or gap year preferred.
  • Work Experience: Not required, law firm or in-house internship experience preferred.
  • Technical & Professional Knowledge: Fluent in both spoken and written English; proficient in MS Office tools.
  • Others: Team player with a highly responsible work attitude, good communication and interpersonal skills.
