Job Description & Qualifications

The Program Manager, eCommerce Transportation is responsible for developing and leading new complex and cross-functional initiatives & solutions as well as improving existing transportation programs in order to meet the company’s strategic goals. This includes strategy and business case development, project planning and management as well as full implementation of Programs. This role is responsible for the successful program or project implementation including cross-functional alignment, effective status communication and ultimately delivering on time and budget. The role entails collaboration and influencing across internal teams as well as external 3rd parties to deliver results on time and to plan.

  • Create and manage a Technology and Business roadmap to deliver the vision of eCommerce Transportation. This role will lead diverse cross-functional internal and external teams to delivers build new programs and complex solutions to existing problems in eCommerce Supply Chain.
  • Perform or lead analytical projects to identify continuous improvement programs that drive to the company’s cost, service and growth goals.Responsible for providing accurate line of sight to business intelligence teams on the profitability of our items by using data science tools to demonstrate transportation cost per unit at a SKU level.
  • Lead cross functional teams to implement new programs and improve existing programs.Influencing internal and external customers as well as prioritizing initiatives in line with organizational strategy.Accountable for delivering on KPIs and other metrics/commitments as set out in Project Charters.
  • Coordinate and lead status updates on all programs for senior and executive leadership.Regular updates to Director and VP levels on program progress, KPIs and identification of headwinds and tailwinds. This role will regularly report to Supply Chain leadership on the progress of projects and initiatives.
  • Strong Understanding of financial and business metrics as it relates to Retail eCommerce and eCommerce Supply Chain required.Background/Education in business or accounting strongly recommended.Advanced+abilities with Excel, Alteryx, Tableau are necessary for success.
  • Lead the development of effective measurement and reporting of all programs to monitor performance and measure successful implementation.Coordinate strategy across the transportation and logistics team to drive achievement of annual, mid-term, and long-term plans.Accountable for progress on metrics that help drive forward agreed upon customer value propositions across


  • College certificate or diploma
  • 2-3 years’ experience working in retail, ecommerce, or supply chain
  • Project or program management experience

  • Ability to problem-solve with a track record of producing results
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyze significant amounts of information
  • Strong excel skills and Alteryx/tableau experience, as an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet goals independently

  • Ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ability to present complex information in a simplified way to various audiences
