Job Description & Qualifications

The IPG Group is central to Intel's product designs. We create designs for the majority of Intel's products that service server, client, chipset, modem and IOT markets. We supply IP to both internal design teams and external customers. The Toronto digital design team within MIG is looking for talented individuals who wish to be a part of building the industry's next generation products, with a focus on high-speed SerDes.Key

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To

  • Logic design and RTL coding of high speed SerDes RTL simulation
  • Analog circuit behavioral modelling
  • Scripting and flow development
  • SOC integration support

Qualifications

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, and research.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Candidate must be enrolled in a bachelor's degree of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Engineering Science or any other STEM degree with knowledge/experience in two or more of the following:
  • Good fundamental knowledge of electronics and digital hardware concepts.
  • Basic understanding of digital design practices, including RTL coding in Verilog and running/debugging simulations.
  • Familiarity with ASIC design flows for deep sub-micron technologies
  • Strong scripting and/or software development skills

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in Canada:CAD 42,000.00-CAD 76,000.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.

In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
