Job Description & Qualifications

Main provider of Help Desk IT support for the Delta BC site users;

 Plan, provision, deploy, administer and troubleshoot users and user environments, workstations, laptops, tablets, VOIP phones, and smartphones.

 Configuration and deployment of SCCM packages, imaging of physical stations with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit;

 Assist other IT staff with projects related to user provisioning;

 Prepare & maintain documentation based on corporate standards;

 Work with the Information Technology team to plan, implement and manage security policies and procedures;

 Basic up-keep and maintenance of telecom rooms/server rooms;

 Stay current with new technology trends, establish best practices and set standards related to user environments;

 Handle hardware management alerts sent out when certain hardware conditions occur;

 Administration of smartphones and voice/data/text plans with Rogers;

 Perform other duties as required by IT Director and Senior System admin

Qualifications

Information Technology diploma;

 2 to 4 years’ relevant helpdesk experience with:

o Microsoft Windows 7;

o Windows 2003/2008/2012 servers;

o Microsoft Exchange 2010 Server;

 

o Group policy orchestrator;

o DNS;

o DHCP;

o VMware VSphere;

o Citrix Xendesktop;

o Office 365;

o SCCM 2012 1603.
