The Product Documentation team provides expert communications advice and delivers clear, concise, and meaningful communications that help our clients understand Manulife products and services.
The Communications Specialist develops an understanding of the details of complex insurance products and explains those details to clients in plain language. They write contracts, statements, and notices, and creates forms for insurance products. They may also work on other client-facing deliverables including UX copy, privacy information, automated emails, and insurance policies.
The Communications Specialist plans how content is shared across multiple deliverables, and how content is dynamically included or excluded from deliverables based on business rules. They understand the technologies involved to produce product documentation and work with IT to specify the content design and test the resulting outputs. Work is primarily project-based.
