VII/LOBP Operator
Job Description & Qualifications
Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of VII/LOBP Operator located in Jurong Terminal.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Receipt and Stock Accountability of Raw Materials / Finished Product
- Accountable for the accurate and on time receipt of raw materials and bulk oils.
- Accountable for the stock control of all materials and finished stock.
- Attend to the bulk receiving operations of base oils including tankers receipt through the jetty
Filling of Products & Base Oils
- Schedules “customer orders” in the most efficient and safe manner to meet customer demands
- Ensures filling of products are per work routings and are in accordance with relevant work instructions to ensure provision of quality products at all times.
- Ensures sampling of pre and post -fill product and submission for QA testing.
- Reconciles accepted bulk quantities with customer order and raw materials consumption.
- Hands over of product to “customer” (warehouse).
- Constantly improves the effectiveness of the operation with no/minimal capital investment
Administration and Reporting
- Submits accurate and on time reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis as required:
- “On time – in full” satisfaction of customer demand.
- Volume and number of filling orders
- Quality and cost performances.
- Housekeeping
- Ensures that all physical activities are reflected in the books of account.
- Ensures that all personnel in his department are fully aware of their duties and standards expected and the performance thereof. Handling of disciplinary matters.
- Ensures that all personnel are properly placed and trained. Makes recommendations to management on a wide range of personnel issues – from promotion to termination.
Product Costing and Cost Management
- Measures and records “set up” and “process” times for all activities
- Accurately measures and records consumption of raw materials used in filling activities.
- Accurately measures total packaged volumes.
- Performs all required SAP input for filling transactions after production order creation to final confirmations and settlements of production orders.
- Is accountable for material and activity variances.
- Monitors all aspects of operating costs in his area to assure attainment of cost objectives through innovation and controlled spending. Is held accountable for cost management is his area.
HSE
- Ensures that potential hazards associated with the work environment are identified and steps are taken to minimize or eradicate them.
- Ensures that all personnel under his direct control are fully aware and adopt safe work practices and procedures at all times thereby operating an incident free operation.
Housekeeping
- Ensuring that his designated area is always clean, clear and orderly.
- Reports equipment malfunctions and agreeing repair/replacement schedule with maintenance Supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma in mechanical engineering or other discipline
- Fresh Graduate are welcome to apply
- Self-motivated and effective team player with good communication skills
- Experience in DCS operation and CERT will be advantageous
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Able to perform overtime work if required
- Able to perform rotating shift work
Relocation Options:
Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.
International Considerations
Selected candidate will work in Singapore under the local payroll system and benefits.
Chevron participates in E-Verify in certain locations as required by law.
