The graduate programme encompasses a learning framework that includes internal and external courses, as well as on-the-job learning, designed to help you gain the skills you need to succeed.
The Materials & Corrosion Engineer works in the Mechanical and Integrity Department, with expertise in the areas of materials selection, welding, failure analysis, corrosion management, corrosion monitoring, RBI, cathodic protection, together with the provision of timely M&C advice on matters of specification, design, selection, procurement, application, maintenance and turnaround. The scope is broad covering corrosion and materials issues of pressured systems, chemical treatment, supporting new process development and rotating components. The key IT system used for the management of the Materials and Corrosion data and activities is the Shell In-house web-based Integrity Management System, w-IMS.
