The Content Solution Engineer, a member of the Content Engineering team, is responsible for supporting and administering all systems under the content engineering portfolio namely; the business scheduling system, the metadata system, the media asset management system, the rights management system and other content related databases/integrations. The role of support and administration includes ensuring system availability, capacity planning, monitoring, documentation and responding to user ticket queues.

  • Candidate must be creative and innovative to swiftly resolve complex system issues that affects media preparation and delivery, ensuring timely content preparation for our customers. This includes analyzing problems with data and developing custom made solutions in collaboration with internal and external parties.

  • 2 years of working experience with a Bachelor’s degree in information Science / Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent

Job Skills/Competencies Required

  • Working knowledge of any programming languages (Java, Python) with the ability to develop simple tools (eg. Translator, file converter) to ease day to day operations
  • Working knowledge of operating systems (Windows / Linux) and networking (router/switch/firewall)
  • Working knowledge of databases (MySQL/MSSQL) and scripting will be an added advantage
  • Working knowledge of cloud based technology (AWS/Azure/GCP) will be an added advantage
  • Understanding of media workflows i.e. file delivery, transcoding, storage will be an added advantage
