Job Description & Qualifications

We are looking for a Trainee Area Manager who is resilient customer focused, thrives under pressure; has strong decision-making & problem-solving skills and enjoys leading and inspiring teams!

Your trainee programme is aimed at developing your skills to become a field manager.  During the training period, you will be required to work in our stores, to develop a thorough understanding of store and field operations. You will be required to:

  • Gain a complete understanding of stores by partnering with different stakeholders, including operations, store and support teams to achieve  business results
  • Learn how to build a culture of exceptional customer service that is consistently achieved by implementing and monitoring our customer experience strategy and standards within scope of control
  • Be exposed to analyzing store performance, maximizing traffic trends to influence business decisions.
  • See how stock is managed effectively.                      
  • Learn the building blocks for future responsibilities which will include running a fiscally responsible stores.
  • Be a Brand Ambassador to drive brand awareness and build customer loyalty

Requirements:

  • Relevant 3 year plus Degree/National Diploma (BCom or Retail Management) Essential
  • Considered South African Youth
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business according to retail operating hours  which will include weekend work
  • 6 months plus years retail work experience
