Job Description & Qualifications

The job holder will be responsible for planning and carrying out marketing & sales activities, maintain & develop sales of corporate micro & bundled solutions in accordance with agreed business plans.

Relationships

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Business

Field Activity: 80% Field based, 20% Office and Administration

Target Market and territory indicators: SACCOS & Microfinance Institutions.

Deliverables

  • Building a master database of tangible leads from different intermediaries to generate monthly qualified prospects.
  • Identify opportunities for Building relationships with corporative groups and other institutions for selling & Marketing life products
  • Collect feedback /data/ market intelligence of the largely un-tapped market on their needs and position alternative products in more effective & innovative mechanism to reach the identified market.
  • Manage Account services through quality checks and other follow ups including timely delivery.
  • Producing of monthly management reports and Production reports
  • Ensure aggressive selling of relevant product / service through presentations and intense follow up thereafter.
  • Ensure Customer inquiries are resolved promptly as per laid down policies and procedures.
  • Champion Insurance product training, sensitize customers on insurance products within the area of operation.
  • Facilitate product presentations with the risk advisors and other intermediaries
  • Work with marketing to drive programs and events to extend the relationships to new prospects and business associations.
  • Execute other duties assigned by your supervisor in line with the business strategic plan.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in corporative and micro-finance institutions
  • Business Related degree (BBA, BCOM) 
  • Professional qualification is an added advantage
  • Leadership skills with strong intellect and vision.
  • Proven record of honesty and integrity
  • Entrepreneurial drive & Business development experience
