Dr. Niraj Upadhayaya is a professor at the JB Institute of Engineering and Technology in Hyderabad in India. Below he talks about his career and how he accomplished his goals, and gives you advice on how to be successful in your future.

I am working as Professor at JBIET. I teach the Masters of Technology (Computer Science and Engineering) course. I also supervise PhD research and, as Director (Academic Planning) I oversee the academic planning and administration of JBIET.

I have Bachelor degree in Electronics Engineering, and a Masters and PhD in Computer Engineering. I also have an MBA and over 24 years of experience. My exposure at UWE Bristol played a great role in being so successful.

I feel that UK provides great advantage as meeting point of several culture, races and thinking styles.

I feel that UK provides great advantage as meeting point of several culture, races and thinking styles. It widens your scope and helps you think outside of the box (certainly in the context of indian thinking style). Absorbing a new thought process can make you a better problem solver.
