What do you do?

I am responsible for assembling and checking data for further analysis.

Why do you think you got this job?

I think that the reason I got this job was my good degree in a relevant subject.

What key advice would you give to current students from China who would like to get into a similar job to you?

If you want to work in an accounting firm, there is much more you need to know than calculation and working out the balance sheet.

What other advice would you give to others graduates?

I would like to mention the teamwork. For the big projects, there is no way for someone to go alone. Therefore, you need to adapt to work with others. Some companies may have internal competition due to the performance-related pay. Don’t get yourself overloaded otherwise you will get bored with your work soon, and don′t take a task that is beyond you.

Try to make use of all the options you have when you apply for your first job, as you might not know which one will respond. If you focus on just one job application, you will have wasted a lot of time if you fail, so try to get more than one application going at the same time.
