About Your Job:

In this role, you will provide professional Human Resources support to the Regional HR Business Manager and Country Management team.  You will contribute to the development and implementation of the HR strategy in all areas of recruitment, organisational design, retention and reward, and employee engagement.  You will support and provide guidance, advice and coaching to Line Managers on all HR policies, procedures and processes.

Specific accountabilities include:

Working with Key Line Managers in a consultancy role, assisting Line Managers to understand and implement policies and procedures

Together with the Regional HR Business Manager, drive the HR agenda and implement key actions as agreed

Providing HR support to the business, including documentation and approval processes

Leading the HR Agenda in one or more countries covering more than one station and assisting in new station openings

Supporting, coaching and advising a differentiated client group within the Countries including Commercial, Ground Services, Cargo and Finance

Assisting with the development of accurate job descriptions and the recruitment approval process

Implementing Human Resources policies such as performance management, disciplinary and absence management

About You:

To be effective in this role, you will need a Bachelors degree combined with a minimum of five years of job-related experience, with two years in a HR function.  You will need a sound understanding of best practice HR management theories and strong project management capability.  Prior experience leading a team would be well regarded.

It is also home to the world’s only terminal dedicated to Qatar Airways First and Business Class passengers.

About Your Job::

Technology Services Engineer role is to support the staff for end user devices including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners and specially airport systems. Also will be responsible for installing, upgrading, and maintaining one or more of the following areas to improve system availability.

  • ITIL based process and procedures on Service Delivery and Support.
  • X-Ray Screening Systems and specially airport systems. 
  • End user devices including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile devices etc.
  • Perform pro-active monitoring and troubleshooting on all systems round the clock and ensure that all incidents reported to IT service desk are responded efficiently in timely manner.
  • Support in conducting Root Cause Analysis of reported incidents in IT systems and ensure right changes to system configuration are followed in line with change management process.
  • Liaise with external suppliers and internal teams involved in both projects and operational maintenance of systems to meet the business requirements.
  • Ensure IT process and procedures are implemented and followed in line with all established Corporate IT policies and ISO 20000 standards for HIA - IT Services.
  • The job demands the holder to be on shift duty or round the clock on-call support to ensure 24x7 smooth operations of IT systems.

About You::


  • Relevant Vocational, Tertiary or Trade qualification
  • Electronics / Engineering / Computer Science Degree or Diploma. 
  • Minimum 4 years relevant experience in one of the following areas:
  • Desktops, Laptops, Printers and other end user devices.
  • Windows, Linux and Unix Operating Systems.
  • Managing X-ray Screening systems.
  • Process implementation in-line with ISO and ITIL V3 standards.
  • Being part of IT Project execution teams.
  • Demonstrates skill development by actively participating in growth opportunities for continuous development and effectively perform assigned duties, resulting in meeting or exceeding customer expectations and performance metrics.
  • Effective communication skills when providing training and mentoring to less experienced staff, implementing the latest policies, procedures and best practices to accomplish tasks.
  • Ability to work independently.

  • ITIL V3 experience.

About Your Job:

Qatar Duty Free team is growing. Presentation of Merchandise

Ensure merchandise is displayed to the highest international standards and aids in the selling process

Stock Administration

Maintain the highest level of accuracy when checking and counting goods

Stock Security

Ensure the highest level of confidentiality with regards to all company documentation, information and statistics.

Ensure that you are aware of the HOT SPOT or Theft prone areas

Cash Register Procedures

Ensure the float is correct and that all keyed information into the POS terminal is done so accurately

Responsible for the cash variances at the end of the shift

About You:

Minimum age of 20 years

High School qualifications ( O level, Year 10, min compulsory education).

Minimum of 2 years job-related experience required preferably with previous Retail and or Customer Service experience

Must be willing to work shifts including weekends and night shifts

Outgoing personality with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a multinational team

Must possess excellent  English communication skills.
