Job Description & Qualifications

Responsible for selling a sub-set of Consulting solutions and services. Drive gathering and reuse of IP in positioning Consulting solutions. Actively maintain a depth of solution knowledge in the designated product areas. Understand the needs and challenges of the customer and then link them to a set of solutions provided by Oracle. Is focused primarily by proposition with a wider view/context of full services portfolio. Has focused expertise and domain knowledge in the area of the proposition and rapidly utilizes best practices to enable the focus on one proposition. Has responsibility for generating bookings in the area of the proposition. Orchestrate various stakeholders, internal and external around solution sales cycle. Responsible for running and driving a sales cycle considering related Customer Success.

  • Develop the business by uncovering new opportunities in the SME space
  • Articulate business benefits of Oracle solutions to the relevant audience.
  • Manage a volume business i.e. many deals in a given period.
  • Create leads from your own prospecting efforts, leveraging your contacts and existing accounts and partners.
  • Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the business applications, cross lines of business.
  • Work closely with License teams on all customer projects as One team.
  • Participate in the creation, presentation and sales of a complete value proposition via the telephone, internet, webinar and customer meetings.
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to close sale as required
  • Flexibility to travel
  • Coordinate with Oracle Marketing teams for Events related to functions for Consulting line of business

Location: United Arab Emirates

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Expert knowledge of the UAE market
  • Fluent in English
  • 2-3 years working experience in Sales, Marketing functions in reputed organizations in GCC
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with internal/external clients.
  • Strong sales skills including business justification, negotiation and closing.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Expertise in demand generation in new markets from campaign conception to deal closure.
  • Strong influencing skills.
  • Enthusiasm to learn new sales skills and technologies.
  • Strong desire to overachieve revenue goals.
  • Experience of using social media tools.
  • A top degree in Business or IT related disciplines from a reputable university.
  • High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, commitment, self-belief and achievement-orientation.
  • Self- motivated to continuously expand personal and professional knowledge.
  • The ability to work with a dynamic and multinational team in addition to the ability to work alone at times.

Job description

  • 5-8 years of relevant field sales experience.
  • Able to develop strong internal relationships. 
  • Able to network and develop strong business relationships with customers such that they turn to Oracle for their resource needs. 
  • Able to generate leads and submit proposals to the client utilizing a broad knowledge of Oracle service offerings. 
  • Able to generate consulting services and nurture and close the transaction.
  • Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment.
  • May have project lead role.
  • Bachelors degree preferred.
