Responsibilities:

Client Leadership:

  • Partner with/manage cross functional IT consulting engagements, such as software selection and implementation, business process mapping, project management; in the EHS, Sustainability and Risk areas
  • Lead & facilitate client meetings, drive discussions with senior executives/leadership team/business users and IT professionals; executive summary read-its and detail fact based analyses
  • Understand the client's industry and recognize key performance drivers, business trends, and emerging technical and industry developments
  • Stay informed of general business/economic developments and their impact to the client.
  • Establish expectations of value to be delivered
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with the client management throughout the year along with  demonstrating technical expertise
  • Assist with overall client relationship/engagement activities, business development and account management efforts

 

Team Leadership:

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives, and work with matrix teams, vendors and business stakeholders in multiple geographies areas to ensure timely, accurate, and effective implementation of engagements
  • Delegate work successfully; conduct timely performance reviews and provide performance feedback/training.
  • Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery.
  • Maintain an educational program to continually develop skills.
  • Maintain cooperative relationships with other engagement teams.
  • Monitor the engagement team's progress against the plan and alter it when needed.
  • Generate new business opportunities
  • Develop long-term relationships and networks both internally and externally.
  • Ability to travel for project work across Canada

 

To qualify for this highly visible position with excellent potential for career advancement, candidates must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in the Information Technology, Information Technology and/or Business Administration field
  • 3-5 years’ overall relevant experience in IT/technology consulting services, such as IT Transformation experience or related
  • Having an working experience in the area of EHS and Sustainability software (SAP, Enablon, Sphera, Process Map, Medgate, etc.) would be an asset
  • Understanding of EHS processes such as environmental compliance, incident management, risk assessment, occupational health, industrial hygiene and others, is an asset
  • Management consulting experience is an asset
  • Previous experience with a public accounting firm or consulting practice in the technology services area is an asset
  • Energetic, passionate and entrepreneurial spirit
  • A dedication to teamwork and leadership
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
