General Summary

We are seeking highly motivated and energetic individual that will be responsible for coordinating all activities required for seamless change evaluation and impact analysis of product and process design changes. The incumbent will be responsible for communication, preparing stakeholder analysis, and facilitating impact assessments. This role will support multiple programs across the organization. The ideal candidate has strong coordination, organization and communication skills. Successful candidate will have a strong commitment to ethics and integrity.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Acts as the Focal for all Change Management request traffic from receipt from the Customer via Programs, through to response to Customer via Programs

• Determine appropriate collaborators based upon change content, this includes interfacing with all departments to determine impact and actions necessary to implement the change and gather needed documents to process change request 

• Receive data from various customer through various websites/portals as required for ongoing Program maintenance.

• Receive data as a result of change or bid requests from customers as provided by Programs.

• Decipher data received. Segregate data for bid activities, NPI Projects, Sustaining Projects, or redundant data. Upload relevant data into SmarTeam, or equivalent as required by Program and data type.

• Initiate ECT&IA Process to assess impact, and review analysis in conjunction with Programs to determine if: cost to be absorbed, contract negotiations required, project to be opened.

• Co-ordinate and chair as needed the Engineering Change Board process 

• Provide tracking and visibility of the volume and through-put of change traffic with particular attention to ensuring contractual requirements for timeliness of change impacts are being managed

• Provide status notification to impacted individuals/functions relating to changes

• Coordinate execution of all action items/tasks required to effectively implement changes 

• Ensure accuracy of product release documents for completeness, proper authorization, and system updates prior to implementation

• Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

• A degree in Engineering or Business or an Engineering Technologist diploma.

• Has some fundamental coding skills and is capable of writing simple code and/or macros

• Familiar with CATIA and understands UUID – what it means and how it works. Understands product structure in solid based modeling.

• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the Canada.

• This position is subject to the Controlled Goods Clearance which requires Canadian permanent residence or citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Quality tools, lean foundation elements and change management

• Excellent analytical skills

• Ability to work in a self-directed or team environment

• Experience creating and maintaining a project plan from inception through completion. This may include a PMP designation.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills; clear and concise 

• Strong computer skills including Excel; able to learn new software

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

• Highly organized, detail oriented with a good memory, with excellent time management skills
