A career in our Indirect Tax practice, within Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet and manage their tax obligations across unique but ever changing tax specialties. You'll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing indirect taxes, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions.

Our team helps our clients optimise cash flow and reduce risk by managing challenges related to indirect taxes. You'll support our clients with all aspects of indirect taxation related to global, regional and domestic projects as well as comprehensive restructuring and reporting value added tax projects.



As a Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above
  • Train and lead staff
  • Establish effective working relationships directly with clients
  • Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen
  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients

Job Profile Summary
A career within Operations, will provide the opportunity to support the business unit operationally by providing insight and advice on all operational aspects such as headcount management, revenue performance and forecasting. In joining, you'll help ensure a complete and relevant exchange of information to the business via the Operations Managers. You'll develop strong relationships with the Operations team and enhance our ability to provide valuable insight and help support in the running of the business.

As a part of our team, you'll help in the development of M.I. to provide insight to different areas of the business and assist the Operations Director in making decisions with the Leadership team to support in the running of the business.As a Senior Associate, your specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Developing insightful M.I. and analysis with financial and headcount data to support the Operations team.  Working with the Operations Managers in the team you will tailor and adapt this analysis to provide value to the different business areas whilst also maintaining a consistent approach.   
  • You will need to be commercially minded and develop a good understanding of the business in terms of performance in order to be successful in the role and provide us with the right insights and information.
  • You will support in the production of monthly review slide decks with analysis that you will have helped to produce, therefore advanced excel and powerpoint skills are essential.
  • Your stakeholders are the internal Operations team so you'll need to be a team player and used to working for different people with different needs.

 Mandatory qualifications: The following qualification(s) are mandatory for the candidate to perform the role
o Relevant IT or Business related degree
 Preferable qualifications: The following qualification(s) are preferable and beneficial for the candidate to perform the role
o Business systems qualifications e.g. TOGAF, Oracle Cloud specialist etc.
o Cloud computing related certifications
 Years of Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
 In-depth understanding of Cloud computing, business system risks and controls.
 Excellent organisational skills, having the ability to prioritise work load whilst being resilient and being able to cope well under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
 Strong interpersonal skills enabling the candidate to build rapport with clients and in a dynamic cross- cultural team.
 Proven skills on MS Office.
 Language Skills: Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Fluent in English but multilingual Arabic speaker preferable.
 The ability and willingness to travel within the Middle East and worldwide where the project dictates.
