Tourism industry of Vietnam has been growing unprecedentedly over the past few years. According to Strategy on Vietnam’s tourism development approved by the Government, by 2020, tourism would have basically become a key economic sector, being able to compete with other countries in the region and the world and by 2030, Vietnam strives to become a nation with a developed tourism sector. The government’s support would be a key driving force for the continuing development of this industry.

Career Opportunities

Tourism is a vast industry with various career paths which offers abundant opportunity for students seeking careers in a dynamic, international environment.
Followings are examples of graduate career in the sector:

• Tourism management: mainly involves designing, organizing and planning domestic and international packages for holidaymakers.
• Hotel/ restaurant management: responsible for day-to-day management of a hotel/ restaurant, setting and achieving strategic plan to maximize profit of the company.
