GradLink University wins UK award for Best Careers Service!

The University of the West of England (UWE), the University that powers the GradLink websites, won the Best UK University Careers/Employability Service Award at the prestigious National Undergraduate Employability Awards in London this month.

The National Undergraduate Employability Awards is sponsored by PwC and supported by like-minded thought leaders AGR and AGCAS. This year′s ceremony was also run in association with The Guardian, further highlighting the importance of undergraduate employability.

Stephen Isherwood, Chief Executive of the AGR took to the stage deliver an insight into the undergraduate market. Special guest speaker, Sahar Hashemi, OBE and co-founder of Coffee Republic then delivered an inspirational speech about her path to success and the importance of entrepreneurial spirit within organisations.

The Awards were presented by Oliver Sidwell and Sahar Hashemi, with The University of the West of England taking home the Award for Best University Careers / Employability Service.
