What you’ll do: 

  • First Line Manager is the leadership role, leading 2 or 3 squads (~25 HC) who are involved in software development and deployment using Agile practices with Java, DB2 and ETL technologies.
  • Act as an Agile Evangelist to form self - empowered teams 
  • Interface with IBM Global Teams / Brands to ensure that the business requirements are captured, prioritized and delivered as per business needs
  • Review & Assess existing application  architecture, development and deployment processes and look for continuous improvement opportunities. 
  • Understand and manage business strategic direction and provides technical leadership and mentoring to project teams.
  • Investigates and considers alternatives to develop innovative solutions.
  • Accountable for ensuring service levels are achieved / exceeded, as per contractual obligations as detailed in SLA.
  • Knack for evaluating new technologies and make recommendation on how to integrate them in new software solutions.
  • Lead & Adherence to change management processes.
  • Lead/Support and manage efficiency and effectiveness of sales coverage and transformation by increasingly providing services and support of the Center of Excellence
  • Recognizes and articulates problems related to the current processes. Initiate projects for process improvements and standardization.
  • Reviews existing systems/processes and challenge the validity of given procedures and processes with a view toward enhancement or improvement and automation.
  • Execute or support a wide range of process activities beginning with the request for proposal through development, test and final delivery.
  • Lead and foster collaborative decision making among ourselves and our leaders, to seamlessly deliver IBM's total value to clients - from sales through delivery and ongoing support. Enable our value-based culture through ongoing communications and targeted actions, aligned with our priority initiatives.
  • Execute people management activities: Budget/Finance/ICA Management; Attrition Management (projection, prevention, retention) and Employee Motivation (education, career path, skill development, training, mentor-ship program, awards and recognition).
  • Self-starter and can work independently.

  • They have expertise on how to adapt IBM standard process to support non-standard applications or in situations when IBM standard process can not be used, how to best integrate support for the applications into the overall IBM support model to achieve client expected business results.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Service-oriented Architecture (SOA) & Oracle Service Bus (OSB) Admin
  • Experience in installing, configuring and administering Oracle SOA Suite and Oracle Service Bus (OSB).
  • Experience deploying Java EE applications on Weblogic.
  • Experience performance tuning and securing SOA composite applications.
  • Experience monitoring and operating the SOA Infrastructure.
  • Experience with configuring Oracle SOA for High-availability.
  • Experience with managing and administering Oracle BAM, Oracle Web Services Manager and Oracle B2B is a strong plus.
  • Consult with business analyst and architects to understand, anticipate, and meet current and future business needs.
  • Modify and configure applications/systems as specified in the requirements and/or technical design document.
  • Provide on-call support for production systems and provide timely solutions.
  • Support technical design, development and unit test of OSB and JEE programs.
  • Support stabilization of integration delivery projects. This includes OnCall support.
  • Experience with Oracle Service Bus version 11g and 10g. OSB development experience.
  • Experience generating, importing/exporting jar (sbconfig.jar) files.
  • Experience in writing WLST scripts.
  • Experience in OSB Deployment using sbconsole or Workshop.
  • Experience with Content based routing. Experience using EAI patterns.
  • Experience with the use of proxies with SOAP or REST transports.
  • Experience with the use of proxies with WS Security.
