  • Responsible for creating fully functional test plans and execution by delegating assignments to team members that will insure solid test coverage is being addressed.
  • Responsible for setting goals, establishing effective team processes, plans and schedules, closely monitoring execution, driving issue resolution and accepting the responsibility for ensuring successful achievement and continuously improving team knowledge, skills and abilities, processes and tools to effectively execute.
  • Maintaining an effective working relationship with management team members, acting as a Quality Advisor in the achievement of corporate goals.
  • Ensuring adequate workflow documentation, procedures, standards, and controls are in place and followed for Promotions and Withdrawals of changes and enhancements from the Integration test environment to the Production environment.
  •   Drive cost effectiveness through use of automation techniques and process improvements.
  • Strategize and support Agile techniques such as BDD(Behavior Driven Development), TDD ( Test Driven Development), ADD ( Acceptance Driven Development), integration testing, load and performance testing  and exploratory testing.
  • Strong Quality background with experience in identifying and reviewing test plans, test cases and testing results.
  •   Strong project management skills, preferably with experience in an agile development environment.
  • Excellent quality and release management skills
  • Work with geographically distributed QA, business and development teams.
  • Solid track record for delivery of high quality products.
  • Experience in preparing quality metrics and effectively engaging with stake holders to set and drive quality goals.

Qualifications:
 

  1.        Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
  2.        Experience with and knowledge of Automotive Product Development (PD) processes, terminology and of the Global Product Development System (GPDS) or equivalent System.
  3.        CAD/CAM/PLM tools testing experience.
  4.        Experience in software test strategy, planning, documentation, automation and process improvement.
  5.        Experience with gathering and documenting Business Requirements
  6.        Knowledge of and experience within both the Agile and Project Management methodologies
  7.        Experience with using HP ALM in day-to-day QCoE team testing.
  8.        Experience using Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
  9.        Experience in testing with multiple delivery methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
