  •  Lead software Model design/development in BCM or Climate Control.
  • Lead features reviews (requirement, design and models) for BCMClimate Control models.
  • Work closely with BCM feature owners to analyze the BCM requirements and develop the control model using model based design (Matlab).
  • Redesign  the models with Plug n Play architecture and generate C Code
  • Create Integration test scripts, develop integration plan for each feature, develop and maintain model Integration testing framework.
  • Set up automated test environment, execute model in loop testing and evaluate the test results. 
  • Work with Control Engineers to process and analyze test data and create test reports.
  • Lead and/or participate in meetings with customers for project status.  
  • Implement alternatives whenever required to make sure delivery milestones are met. 


Education and Experience :

  • BE/ M.E in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Control Systems, Power Electronics or Embedded systems Engineering with 6 to 9 years of experience.



  • Requirement analysis & control model development (MBD) using MATLAB/Simulink and State flow tool. 
  • Auto code generation using Matlab coder, Simulink coder and Embedded coder or dSPACE Targetlink tool. 
  • Experience in unit testing. 
  • Auto Test Cases generation from Model using tools like Reactis/ Embedded Tester/Simulink design verifier (SLDV). 
  • Test automation using m-scripting. 
  • MIL, SIL and PIL testing methods. 
  • Strong experience on modelling and coding standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Attend Program Activity Team (PAT) discussions, to understand the build plans and timings.
  • Coordinate and ensure availability of all pre-requisites before commencement of GPIRS Scheduling ( Proper finance table set up, securing budgets, having details of build requirements and specifications )
  • Create GPIRS build schedule for the given vehicle SPEC in line with program requirements and build timings.
  • Ensure BOM validation tool is ready for Engineers to validate. Conduct overview/training session on Validation guidelines to Design Engineers and program team prior to validation.
  • BOM Validation – Drive on time completion of GPIRS BoM validation by Design engineers supported by the program team. Ensure 100% BoM accuracy with Zero Open Issues.
  • Review “Suspense” (Parts without sourcing info) list generated from GPIRS and follow-up with purchasing for completion of sourcing.
  • GPIRS BOM Maintenance –Track part status changes & Publish updated BoM periodically. Changes to be tracked are - Newly added parts / No change / deleted parts / Quantity change/ Changes from Local to Import & Vice versa.
  • Lead PTR meetings (Part Tracking Review), for a deep dive on part supportability status. Should act as PPM SPOC to Engineering and Program Team.
  • Understand the requirements for every program, and prepare work plan/timing plan
  • Prepare and publish daily night letters to all stake holders and senior management on program/build status.
  • Support program team in resolution of part shortages and supplier not supportable issues. 
  • Support pilot plant receiving activities and assist in issue resolution
  • Participate in Build site Shortage meeting (hosted by Build site coordinators) to discuss on Part readiness, pending orders, Open Red Borders, Vehicle Build status and Logistic issues.

Other Key Responsibilities


  • Lead a team of PPM BoM and ordering Analysts.
  • Creates and Maintains APA PPM's Master Schedule and scorecards.
  • Produces and monitors status of Single point Lesson (SPL)/Corrective Action Reports.
  • Identifies all future Programs and Timing and their impact on PPM resources.
  • Drive 6 Sigma as a key methodology for process and cost improvements.
  • Establishes and continuously improves best practices.
