Key Areas of Responsibility 

Sales Execution Tasks

· Collaborate with sales management to plan account strategies through participation in regular account reviews; 

· Demonstrate innovative approaches to sales cycles and pipeline development; 

· Balance the required presales investment with the value of each opportunity, challenging when appropriate; 

· Engage appropriate presales team for qualified sales opportunities, including the identification of a presales lead; 

· Drive consistent presale processes, including CRM-based opportunity management, dry-runs and discovery sessions, to ensure superior demos and presentations; 

· Within select sales cycles, build strategic partnerships with key decision makers in customer organisation; 

· Monitor and support the impact of each presales team member throughout each sales cycle; 

· Maintain high-level knowledge of Oracle’s entire solution suite and key competitors; 

· Balance team utilisation, including investment in training & business development, to support the pipeline; 

· Qualification of sales opportunities. 

 

Team Development Tasks 

· Identify areas of development for each team member and work to define and execute a tailored learning plan; 

· Foster an atmosphere of continuous learning and improvement; 

· Monitor the development activities towards industry and solution learning goals; 

· Provide feedback and coaching after dry-runs, demos and presentations in order to help them hone their skills; 

· Provide formal oral and written feedback during regular performance management reviews; 

· Drive and encourage your team members toward their revenue targets and aim for target quota attainment. 

· Help develop the larger presales organization through leadership of a solution- or industry-focused community of practice which provides enablement and a voice of the field to solution management. 

· Be resourceful & creative - consider how existing solutions can be combined to leverage new sales opportunities. 

· Embrace and adopt innovative approaches and techniques to delivering demonstrations and presentations. 

 

Experience and Qualifications

· Proven track-record of developing and managing teams (ideally in a presales or sales environment); 

· Demonstrable experience of ERP/EPM/SCM sales and/or delivery 

· Knowledge of cloud solutions, competitive landscape and business models; 

· Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills 

· Experience in a software and/or consulting environment preferred 

· Educated to Degree level or equivalent

Responsibilities:

  • Create, manage and execute a structured demand generation plan that meets the agreed requirements of NetSuite branding campaigns, including translations when required
  • Manage a portfolio of marketing activities including events and digital marketing programs to budget and target, as agreed with the Senior Corporate Marketing Manager in EMEA, including negotiating terms with vendors, processing contracts and purchase orders, setting program parameters and targets, ensuring accurate lead capture and import, and monitoring follow up cycles with sales. 
  • Create or adapt content as required for campaigns or to support the demand generation and sales activities in the relevant verticals. 
  • Analyse and report on results and suggest enhancements to improve current and future activities
  • Work with the Senior Marketing Director in EMEA and relevant sales teams to keep them updated and gather feedback and input for future campaigns
  • Keep up to date on relevant industry topics to ensure our messaging and activities are relevant and topical.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Marketing or related field 
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in marketing or sales within a corporate environment, preferably within cloud computing
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills 
  • Attention to detail, follow-through and deadline compliance 
  • Working with complex teams and across multiple geographies and cultures
  • A born leader who takes responsibility for success with a strong desire to learn industry best practices and trends and master new marketing tools and technologies.

 Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to small-and-medium sized accounts. The role is a combination of a Field Sales Rep and Inside Sales Rep.

Works to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory. Territory may be combination of geographic, product, industry and other customer / market dimensions. Sells to the territory directly or via partners. The territory that this rep covers does not have an Inside Sales Rep or Field Rep. Utilizes inbound and/or outbound techniques to identify, qualify and close new opportunities. Manages accounts throughout the entire sales process, and collaborates with team members in business development, consulting and support to uncover all customer needs. Responsible for understanding Oracle's product offerings and competitive issues to develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Travels to customer sites to identify / develop sales opportunities. Participates in the development, presentation, and sales of a value proposition. Onsite customer presentation with C-levels to negotiate and close strategic and complex deals. Liaises with customer contacts for the purpose of managing the customer relationship, identifying new opportunities and maximizing sales.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Successful sales track record. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle's competitors. Interaction with C level players. Team player. Ability to penetrate accounts and meet with stakeholders within accounts. Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills. Strong marketing skills. Travels to customer as needed. 2 or more years of relevant sales experience. BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.
