Job Description & Qualifications

Position Details:

  • Supervise Release and Follow up analysts and Cycle Checkers. 
  • Facilitate weekly MP&L (Material Planning and Logistics) inventory meetings to analyze Float structures to ensure that correct levels of stock is released and thus ensuring zero shortages and zero over deliveries. Meeting minutes to be filed. 
  • Prepare monthly 210 Deck (Inventory Internal Control Measurables) for Inventory Control meeting, Lead team in Learning boards and analyze inventory reports and prepare explanations for Finance. 
  • Ensure that all supplier rejects are returned within the specified timing. 
  • Reconciliation of monthly Invoices for all Service providers. 
  • Assist with supplier payment issues and supplier shipment discrepancies. 
  • Strive for 100% green SNURK (Global Manufacturing finance solution for data related to Production Inventory) report. 
  • Update and maintain MCRP's (Modular Control Review process) Basic Control file and Annual File review. 
  • Annually update and Maintain Work instructions and desk procedures. 
  • Update CMMS(Common Material Management System) metrics and Material Planning and Logistics scorecard. 
  • Maintain Inventory Adjustments via SharePoint. 
  • Ensure that Charge backs are raised and followed thru to payment and records thereof maintained. 
  • Strive to understand, adhere and implement FPS (Ford Production System's) principles 

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Good analytical skills, data/number analysis. 
  • Working Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Common Material Management System 3) 
  • Knowledge of corporate Material Requirements Planning systems, inventory management is highly preferred. 
  • Excellent English, oral and written communication skills. 
  • Good Liaison and communication skills and knowledge of the Freight Forwarding Industry(including Incorterms) 
  • Working independently with minimal supervision 
  • Customer and supply demand analysis and Capacity planning 
  • Ability to liaise and communicate at all Management levels within Ford Global ,Ford Customers and Ford Suppliers. 

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree/National Diploma/Degree in Logistics/ Purchasing 
  • A minimum of 4 – 6 yrs. experience in Import and Export logistics and Materials planning. 
  • Able to multi task and work under pressure.

Position Details:

  • Ensure that planned production in the operating plan is adhered to for optimal sequencing of vehicle orders in order to achieve delivery of units in accordance with planning assumptions 
  • Prioritize and sequence vehicle orders into the plant scheduling system for vehicles sourced from North America, as well as develop an understanding of Europe and Asia Pacific order scheduling 
  • Effectively communicate with all stakeholders about MY changes and ICA implementations 
  • Coordinate order specification changes in Ford systems as required to comply with product actions as well as changes due to commodity/plant constraints 
  • Develop and publish order fulfillment metrics aligned to all production sources to assess performance and identify opportunities for improvement 
  • Effectively manage orders for balance out and start-ups for new model year changes and MP2 orders 
  • Liaise with business support team on commercial data maintenance, plant logic and technical issue resolution 
  • Develop ad hoc reports and analyses as required 
  • Develop and maintain operating procedures for the order fulfillment process of MEA region 

 

Knowledge, Skill & Abilities:

Position Details:

  • Assist Senior Financial Analyst in development and consolidation of financial analysis to support MEA Business Unit reporting, such as monthly forecast, budget and/or business plan 
  • Assist Senior Financial Analyst to develop detailed financial analysis by analyzing multiple data elements from various financial systems and reports 
  • Assist Senior Financial Analyst to develop financial comparison analysis, such as issue-to-issue, quarter-over-quarter, budget performance, and year-over-year schedules 
  • Work with the MEA regions and skill teams in the development of data to support the financial analysis 
  • Work with Corporate Finance, Global Skill Teams, and Business Units to ensure alignment and adherence to corporate financing reporting and presentation requirements 
  • Assist Senior Financial Analyst to validate the quality of source data input from regions and skill teams 
  • Maintain robust control environment for processes 
  • Performs ad-hoc financial analysis 
  • Assists in the implementation of forecast process improvements to improve accuracy and robustness of forecast, budget and/or business plan 

 

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong communication skills

Qualifications & Experience:
